Guam pulled off only their second World Cup qualifying win when they beat India 2-1 on Tuesday.

Guam's first successful qualifier was last week, against Turkmenistan 1-0.

Brandon McDonald put host Guam ahead in the 38th minute at GFA National Training Center, and Travis Nicklaw doubled the advantage in the 62nd. Sunil Chhetri pulled one back for the visitors in stoppage time but India were handed their second defeat.

Japan hosted Singapore in Group E late on Tuesday.

Singapore opened with a 4-0 victory in Cambodia, but will face a sterner challenge against the four-time Asian champion in Saitama, north of Tokyo.
