The Argentine centre-back was hurt in the 3-1 loss at home to Atletico Madrid on Sunday in the first round of the Spanish league season.
Pareja moved to Sevilla in the off-season after playing for Spartak Moscow for three years. He has previously played for Spanish side Espanyol.
