I will not resign, says Inter's coach Ranieri
Inter have moved down down to sixth in the table, following Napoli's victory at Fiorentina.

Milan: Claudio Ranieri has guaranteed that he will not step down as Inter coach after the club's 3-0 defeat to Bologna on Friday.

Inter have moved down down to sixth in the table, following Napoli's victory at Fiorentina, as two goals from Marco Di Vaio and another from Robert Acquafresca extended the Nerazzurri's winless streak to six matches.

"We are not giving our all," Ranieri told Sky Sport Italia after the match. "We are going through a difficult moment.

"We must take responsibility and apologise to our fans and the president. We expected a difficult match, but never with this outcome."

Asked if he was thinking about resigning from his post, Ranieri said: "I am not planning anything. We are all united in trying to find a solution to these problems."

The 60-year-old coach then admitted that he will have to 'analyse the situation', as the team has suffered 12 goals in four matches since the start of the month.

"We had found a balance and a good tactical unity," Ranieri added. "But we have lost this now and we concede goals at the first opportunity from our opponents."
