New Delhi: Inter striker Samuel Eto'o is reported to be demanding 15 per cent of the transfer fee from the deal that saw him leave Barcelona for the San Siro during the summer, according to Sport.
Eto'o has apparently requested a share of the transfer from the Catalan giants but as yet his request had not had a response. It is understood now that if the two parties do not come to a settlement the matter could go before the courts.
According to Catalunya Radio, which Sport quotes as its source, Eto'o opted to lodge a formal complaint after failing to get a response to several attempts to make contact with Barcelona officials.
The Cameroon international joined Inter as part of the deal that saw Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic join Barca.
It is believed that Eto'o's vaule in the deal was in the region of €20 million which would entitle him to compensation in the region of €3 million if his complaint is upheld.
