Hull: Burnley was relegated from the Premier League despite a 1-0 win at Hull that dropped the home side into the bottom three on Saturday.
Danny Ings' 62nd-minute strike ended Burnley's goal drought of more than 10 hours but results elsewhere sent the team down after just one season back in the top division.
Hull could be joining Burnley in the second-tier League Championship after slipping to third to last, two points adrift of safety. Steve Bruce's side has games left against Tottenham away and Manchester United at home.
Ings swiveled and powered in a left-footed shot for Burnley's first goal in seven matches. Hull's Robbie Brady twice struck the crossbar with shots from free kicks in either half. Burnley is seven points behind fourth-from-bottom Newcastle.
