Over the years, it has been noticed that simple homemade DIY tricks have always worked well and it is always a bonus to consume healthy smoothies especially in summers

Over the years, numerous skincare actives have gained popularity, with Retinol emerging as a widely recognised compound. As a form of vitamin A, Retinol is renowned for its effectiveness in treating acne and possessing anti-ageing properties. However, many skincare manufacturers market products containing this ingredient at exorbitant prices, therefore limiting accessibility for those facing skin issues.

Consequently, there’s a growing interest in homemade, cost-effective alternatives to Retinol. These alternatives offer a simplified skincare routine while eliminating concerns about potential side effects that could exacerbate skin problems.

Nutritionist Disha Sethi shared a healthy cold beverage recipe called “Retinol In A Glass.” As per her recipe, here are the ingredients you need-

  • 1 mango
  • 2 carrots
  • 5/6 mint leaves
  • Juice of one lemon
  • Black salt to taste
  • 1 cup water

How To Make?

  1. To prepare this refreshing beverage, start by gathering your ingredients.
  2. In a blending jar, combine sliced mangoes and diced carrots, then add a handful of fresh mint leaves for a burst of flavour.
  3. Squeeze in some lemon juice and sprinkle with a touch of black salt to enhance the taste.
  4. Pour in enough water to blend the ingredients smoothly, then blend until you achieve a smooth texture.
  5. Once blended, fill a tall glass with ice cubes and pour the mixture over the ice. Garnish your drink with additional mint leaves and mango pieces for an extra touch of freshness and visual appeal. This delightful mango-carrot mint cooler is ready to be enjoyed.

Many users sought additional guidance from the nutritionist regarding the optimal consumption of this drink. One common inquiry was whether it could be enjoyed in the evening as a replacement for tea. The expert responded by recommending that it be consumed preferably before 6 pm.

Earlier, the nutritionist shared a healthy carrot-based drink for women during menstruation. She stated, “Beetroot is a great source of iron which your body depletes rapidly during menstruation and carrot juice is rich in beta-carotene which converts to vitamin A helping to minimize blood flow during this time.”

Ingredients needed to make this Vitamin-rich juice are-

  • 2-3 Raw Beetroot
  • 2 carrots, 1-inch ginger
  • 1/2 lemon.

How to prepare the drink-

  1. To prepare the juice, cut beetroot, carrots and ginger.
  2. Put them together in a blending jar, squeeze in the lemon and pour water.
  3. Once blended pour the liquid in a glass and add ice cubes to have a refreshing drink.
