The registration window for the MAT 2024 August exam will close soon for the Computer-Based Test (CBT) and Internet-Based Test (IBT) modes. Aspiring management candidates may complete their applications before the deadlines of August 11 for CBT and August 9 for the IBT (first session). The PBT (Paper-Based Test) registration will continue till August 18. The exam will be held on August 25. The CBT will be held on August 18, IBT-1 on August 14, and IBT-2 on August 23.
Candidates can visit the official MAT website, mat.aima.in to apply for the exam. MAT 2024 takes place yearly for management aspirants willing to pursue MBA/ PGDM. As per AICTE guidelines, September 15, 2024, is the last date of admission for the current academic intake for PGDM. Graduates in any discipline can apply for the exam. Final-year students of graduate courses can also apply.

MAT 2024: Application Fees
The application fee for MAT 2024 is Rs 2100. Candidates can opt for an additional test mode by paying an extra fee of Rs 1500.
“From May 2024, AIMA has introduced MAT 2.0, an evolved version of MAT, which covers newer segments like current business and economic trends. MAT 2.0 is a new-age entrance test that offers a fresh perspective on management education aligned with contemporary industry practices and growing educational requirements,” reads the official press release. The MAT August 2024 results will be available by the first week of September.
Over 20,000 management seats across more than 600 B-schools are up for grabs via the MAT in August 2024. Some of the participating institutes include the School of Business and Management at Christ University (Bengaluru), Delhi School of Business (VIPS-TC), BIMTECH Noida, XIME Kochi, Calcutta Business School, Dr D Y Patil B School in Pune, NERIM Group of Institutions in Guwahati, among others.
