The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) is set to begin the Karnataka National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) Round 2 counselling process today, September 8. The authorities issued the second round counselling schedule on September 6. Candidates can apply on the official website at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in by September 11.

The Karnataka NEET UG/ UGCET round 2 seat allotment result date is expected to be notified by KEA soon. Those selected will have to submit the necessary documents to the assigned colleges and pay the admission fees to reserve their seats. The round 3 counselling dates and vacancy details will be released after the second round concludes.

Karnataka NEET UG, CET 2024 Counselling: Steps To Apply

Step 1: Go to the Karnataka Examination Authority’s official website –kea.kar.nic.in or cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/KEA)

Step 2: From the official portal, navigate to the Karnataka NEET UG/ UGCET admissions tab.

Step 3: Log in using your NEET UG/ KCET roll number.

Step 4: Fill out the form with the required details.

Step 5: Pay the application fees, upload the necessary documents and submit.

Step 6: Download and save the acknowledgment form for future reference.

While applying for the Karnataka NEET UG counselling, applicants must select one of the four alternatives offered to them. Choice 1 is for applicants who want to be admitted into the first available seats, Choice 2 is for applicants who are satisfied with their seat allotment but would like to be considered for a higher preference, Choice 3 is for applicants who are unhappy with their seat assignment and would like to request an upgrade, and Choice 4 is for applicants who would like to withdraw from the counselling process.

The official notice also states that all participating institutes colleges have been directed to treat all Saturdays and Sundays and Gazetted Holidays as working days to ensure faithful obedience to schedule and also keep in view the limited time available for conducting counselling.
