JPSC Recruitment 2024: Application Window For 170 Forest Range Officer Posts Extended

The Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) has extended the last date of application for recruitment of the Forest Range Officer. Earlier, the last date of application for this was August 10, but now it has been extended to August 30. The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 170 vacant posts. The last date to apply for the vacancies is August 30, while candidates can submit their application fees until September 2, 2024. The exam is scheduled to take place on September 22.

Application fee:

The application fee for the post of Forest Range Officer is Rs 600 for the General, EBC, BC, and EWS categories. The application fee for SC and ST category candidates is Rs 150. The fee will be non-refundable and will be charged through a payment gateway through a credit card, debit card, net banking, wallet, Bharat QR, or UPI.

Qualification:

For the post of Forest Range Officer, candidates should have completed graduation in any one of the following subjects: Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Forestry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Zoology, Environmental Science. Or, the candidate should have done a BTech or BE in civil, mechanical, or chemical engineering.

Age limit:

The minimum age limit to apply for the vacancy is 21 years, while the maximum is 35 years for the unreserved category. Candidates in the reserved category will get relaxation in the upper age limit.

Salary:

The candidates will get a salary between the range of Rs 9,300 to Rs 34,800 after the selection.
