Pakistan Star Babar Azam Asks Fans to Respect Space Before Obliging Photo Requests at Cardiff During Tour of England

Pakistan skipper Babar Azam was mobbed by fans in Cardiff during the side’s tour against England ahead of the ICC T20 World Cup in USA and West Indies.

The 29-year-old seemed irked by fans’ undue encroachment of his personal space while he was in the midst of a personal conversation and the Pakistan skipper asked the crowd to move a bit away from him.

However, he obliged the request of the fans after finishing up his interaction and posed for pictures with the adoring followers.

Azam, one of the finest batters of the modern era will lead the men in green in the ICC showpiece following the return of the captaincy to him earlier in the year after Shaheen Shah Afridi was bestowed with the role of the skipper for a brief while before relinquishing it.

Pakistan, a former T20 World Champion in the year 20009, has yet to repeat the feat and will head to the tournament in the Caribbean with hopes of doubling their tally. However, that job is one easier said than done and the formidable unit will have to pull out all the stops if they are to emulate their previous success at the T20 extravaganza.

Pakistan will begin their search for T20 glory as they take on the USA at Grand Prairie, Texas on the 6th of June, before resuming their epic rivalry against neighbours India in a highly-charged game on the 9th of the month at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium, New York.

They are then slated to face off against Canada on the 11th before closing out their group stage with a fixture against Ireland on the 16th at the Central Broward Park & Broward County Stadium in Lauderhill, Florida.
