'Kaunsa Chahiye, Bol?': Rohit Sharma's Hilarious Response to RCB Fan's Query on Changing His IPL Team

Rohit Sharma’s interaction with fans on Saturday set social media on fire after the Indian captain was heard saying “kaunsa chahiye bol (which one you want)” on being asked about his future team in the Indian Premier League.

A X , formerly Twitter, during day four of the first test between India and New Zealand at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, posted a video in which Rohit was seen making his way through behind the advertising boards. A fan asked him “IPL mein kaunsa team (which team in the IPL)”, to which Rohit replied, “kaunsa chahiye bol (which one you want)”.

The fan went on to add, “RCB mein ajayo (come to RCB)” but Rohit did not respond.

According to a report in Indian Express on Thursday, Rohit, who is MI’s most capped player and leading run scorer in IPL history, is likely to be one of the four players retained by the franchise. Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah, and Suryakumar Yadav are also set to be retained by the Mumbai-based franchise.

Rohit, who led MI to five IPL titles in 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2020, made his IPL debut for MI in 2011, and since then he has been associated with them. Rohit played in all 14 matches for the franchise in IPL 2024 and finished as the leading run scorer for the side after Hardik Pandya took over MI’s captaincy.

Earlier, Ravichandran Ashwin gave an epic response to a Royal Challengers Bengaluru fan who wanted Indian captain Rohit Sharma in RCB.

During a conversation on Ashwin’s YouTube channel, a RCB fan said if he was part of the RCB management, then he would go full throttle for Rohit. He was excited about the possibility of having both Rohit and Virat on the same team.

According to him, Rohit can also lead the side, and the decibel levels at the iconic M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru would go to a different level if the two greats open together.

Reacting to the fan’s wish, Ashwin, who has played for teams like CSK, DC, RR, PBKS, and RPSG, said to sign Rohit, RCB needs to save at least Rs 20 crore.

“Agar Rohit Sharma ke liye aap jaa rahe hai to 20 crore rakhna padega (You need to keep 20 crores with yourself if you want to sign up Rohit Sharma).
