The romantic tale Ajayan Balavin Mylanji, set against a hilly backdrop, is scheduled for a February release as a special for Valentine’s Day. Sriram Karthick, Krisha Kurup, Singampuli, Munishkanth and Thangadurai have significant roles in the film, accompanied by musical magic from the maestro Ilaiyaraaja.

The acclaimed musician Isaignani Ilayaraja, deeply moved by the film’s narrative, personally penned lyrics for all four songs, which the director envisions becoming the anthem for lovers next year.

Screenplay and dialogue master Ajayan Bala, known for contributing to numerous blockbuster films, is stepping into the director’s chair with his debut project Ajayan Balavin Mylanji. The film, backed by Ajay Arjun Productions and presented by Dr Arjun, initially titled Mylanjii, underwent a name change to Ajayan Balavin Mylanji due to the recent release of another movie sharing the same title.

Ajayan Bala explained the significance of regulating film title rights, expressing the necessity for this process. Despite having registered the title Mylanjii a decade ago, complications arose, compelling them to alter the title of their film. The entire shooting process was swiftly completed within a month, predominantly in Ooty. Cinematographer Chezhiyan’s work is expected to garner attention, shaping the film into a captivating emotional journey, as per Ajayan Bala’s remarks.

Continuing, Ajayan Bala stressed the urgency of environmental protection, highlighting the tangible impacts of climate change. The film, conceived as a love story, unfolds in a picturesque hilly setting, with the entire shoot wrapped up in a mere month. Centred around the imperative to safeguard the environment, Ajayan Balavin Mylanji is poised for a Valentine’s Day release in February, with post-production efforts in full swing.

Renowned Indian editor Sreekar Prasad, known for his work on blockbusters like Ponniyin Selvan and RRR, brings his expertise to Ajayan Balavin Mylanji. Sriram Karthick, recognised for his role in Kannimadam, takes on the lead as a natural photographer, while Krisha Kurup from Goli Soda 2 plays the female lead. Munishkanth and Thangadurai assume pivotal roles with Singampuli portraying a significant character throughout the film. Notably, Sriram Karthick is the recipient of the SIIMA award for Best Debut Actor.
