'Complete Rage': Nelson After Watching First-Look Teaser Of Sivakarthikeyan's Next

Sivakarthikeyan won the hearts of his audience, especially children with his latest release Ayalaan. The family movie was enjoyed by the viewers and it minted over Rs 50 crore at the box office. After basking in the success of the fictional drama Ayalaan, the Maaveran actor is now gearing up for his upcoming movie which has been tentatively titled SK21.

SK21 is directed by Rajkumar Periasamy. It is produced by Kamal Haasan, R. Mahendran and Vivek Krishnani under Raaj Kamal Films International and Sony Pictures Films India. The movie stars Sai Pallavi, Sivakarthikeyan and Lallu Prasath. It will also see Rahul Bose in a supporting role, while Kamal Haasan will be in a cameo role. SK21 was first officially announced in January 2022 and will mark Sivakarthikeyan’s 21st movie as a lead actor.

Director Nelson Dilipkumar, who has given hits like Jailer and Beast, watched the teaser of the Sai Pallavi and Sivakarthikeyan-starrer and reacted to it. He appreciated the teaser and was eagerly waiting for the movie. He also applauded the team. The tweet read, “Woah! Just saw SK21’s first-look teaser! It’s complete rage! Can’t wait for the world to see what you have made on this emotional journey, Rajkumar Periasamy. (Clapping emojis) big applause to team SK21!”

The internet was ecstatic to hear about updates on SK21. A user wrote, “So it is going to be another feast, SK21.” Another commented, “Wow! SK21 is going to be big and unusual.” The principal photography commenced in May 2022 and was shot in Kashmir, Chennai and Puducherry. The music department is being handled by G.V. Prakash Kumar. The movie is slated to release this year.

Ayalaan, the Telugu version, was supposed to hit the theatres on January 12, but reportedly, due to the non-availability of theatres, it could not be released. The makers then announced that the alien comedy dubbed in Telugu will be released on January 26, 2023, in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The movie also stars Rakul Preet Singh, Isha Koppikar, Bhanupriya, and Yogi Babu to name a few.
