Mumbai: Construction firm Punj Lloyd Ltd said it has bagged a project worth Rs 302 crore from Road Infrastructure Development Company of Rajasthan Ltd (RIDCOR).
RIDCOR is a joint initiative between the Rajasthan Government and Infrastructure Leasing & Financial Services (IL and FS Ltd).
The shares of the company were trading at Rs 811.10, up 1.31 per cent on the BSE.
The project would undertake improvement and performance-based maintenance works on the Lalsot to Kota Road in Rajasthan.
It would also involve widening of the 195 km stretch of existing road to two lanes with a width of 10.5 metres.
The improvement work is likely to get completed within 21 months and the maintenance would be finished in another 60 months after the improvement work is through, the company informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.
"We are already executing three other RIDCOR projects valued at Rs 593 crore. With this project, Punj Lloyd has to its credit four highways projects in Rajasthan," company Chairman and Managing Director Atul Punj said.
"This reiterates the confidence of our clients in our competencies," he added.
Punj Lloyd is an engineering construction company, which provides design, engineering, procurement, construction and project management services for energy industry and infrastructure sector projects.
The company has also bagged a Rs 117 crore order from Singapore-based Helios Terminal Corporation Ltd, for procurement and construction of storage tanks and other works for the 'Bulk Liquid Storage and Blending Facility', at Jurong Island Singapore.
