HDFC hikes retail deposit rates

New Delhi: Housing Development Finance Corporation, HDFC has increased the interest rates on retail deposits by 50-75 basis points.

HDFC has come out with a special deposit offer from March 27 to April 30. For the special offer, HDFC has raised the rate of interest on one-year deposit by 75 basis points to 7.5 per cent.

The rate of interest for 2-3 years is up 50 basis points, while for deposits above 3 years it is up 75 basis points.

For senior citizens, the mortgage lender is offering 25 basis points more on deposits.
