The long-awaited inauguration of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya took place on January 22. The celebrations have been ongoing over the past few days, and it is a significant day for the country. Many Bollywood celebrities were invited to the grand ceremony, and they visited the Holy city of Ayodhya in some of the best traditional fits. Meanwhile, many took to social media to share their thoughts on the historic occasion. Among them was actress Revathy. The actress took to Instagram to pen an impactful post.

The actress posted a photo of Ram Lalla and wrote, “Jai Shree RAM #ayodhyarammandir . Yesterday was an unforgettable day!!! I did not know there was this part of me that would feel the way it did when I saw Ram Lalla’s enticing face. Something stirred within me… It is strange that being born a Hindu we keep our beliefs to ourselves, try not to hurt other beliefs, we try to underplay… secular India is what we strongly feel and keep our religious beliefs personal. This is how it should be for all. The homecoming of Shri Ram has indeed changed things for many… we said it aloud, maybe for the first time that we are ‘believers’!!! Jai Shri Ram.”

Besides Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif, several other celebrities were also in Ayodhya on the auspicious day. Among others, Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit, Ram Charan, and Chiranjeevi also attended the event.

On the work front, Revathy was last seen in Salman Khan starrer Tiger 3. The actioner saw her taking on the role of Girish Karnad as the RAW Chief. Speaking to News18 Showsha a while back, Revathy had opened up on how their friendship has evolved over the years. She revealed that they don’t necessarily catch up very often but every time they get on a call, they pick up from where they left.
