Deepika Padukone is currently basking on the success of her recently released film Fighter. The film also stars Hrithik Roshan in the lead role.

Whether it’s glamorous red carpet appearances or casual candid outings, Deepika Padukone always manages to turn heads with her noteworthy approach to fashion. At the special screening of her recently released film Fighter, the actress made a strong statement in winter fashion with coffee-colored attire.

Deepika found the right balance between elegance and charm in a chic knit sweater, which she styled with a white shirt. She paired them with a pair of trousers matching the same shade of the shirt and completed her look with a stilleto. With her wavy locks and kohl-rimmed eyes, the actress looked effortlessly glam.

Coming back to Fighter, the film hit theatres today. Along with Deepika, the film also stars Hrithik Roshan and Anil Kapoor in pivotal roles. News18 Showsha gave the film 4 stars and applauded the film. Describing the premise of the film, it stated, “Phenomenally entertaining and consistently engaging, Fighter, for all the derivative genre components it compiles, is an action entertainer that crackles with energy. The film starts in 2018, just a few days before Pakistan-based terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed carried out the tragic Pulwama attack.”

While Deepika basks in the success of her latest film, she was recently asked why she picks films with stories driven by men—Pathaan, Fighter, and Singham Again, to name a few.

Deepika replied, “Yeah, sure, wait for Shakti Shetty.” Shakti Shetty is the name of Deepika’s character in Singham Again. Rohit Shetty revealed earlier that after Singham Again, Deepika will get a standalone film as Shakti. Deepika continued, “But to complete my thought, you never anyway do anything alone. I don’t think women can succeed without men, and men can’t succeed without women. I think we need to rephrase the definition of feminism.”

She was also asked if there was space in her career to do a film like Piku again. Deepika said, “The space is there; the writers have to write. It will happen; I think it is just a matter of time. Post-COVID, everyone felt a bit rattled. It was a new experience everyone was coming out of, and we made a lot of assumptions about where we were headed. We are jumping too soon in this journey of what’s working and what’s not working; only big-budget films are working. You invest in stories; you invest in characters; you invest in people; you invest in the journey.”
