There are two strong reasons why makers have zeroed in on choosing this shooting location. Let’s take a look at them.

Actor Shiva Rajkumar has established himself as one of the stalwarts in Kannada cinema. He recently impressed his fans by essaying an extended cameo in Rajinikanth’s Tamil film Jailer. He is now gearing up for his upcoming film Bhairathi Ranagal, directed by Narthan. The shooting of this film is proceeding at a brisk pace near mines in Ballari district, Karnataka. There are two strong reasons why makers have zeroed in on choosing this shooting location. According to the reports, mines play a crucial role in establishing the backdrop of Bhairathi Ranagal. Another reason for choosing this location is reportedly the promotional event of his upcoming movie, Ghost, that has been planned at Ballari district. It is being said that the promotional event planned at Ballari is for the convenience of Shivanna. The reason behind this is that this way he can shoot for Bhairathi Ranagal, as well as attend Ghost’s promotional event. As per reports, more than 60 days of schedule have been finalised in Ballari for Bhairathi Ranagal, which is a prequel to the 2017-hit film Mufti.

Bhairathi Ranagal also stars Rukmini Vasanth, Rahul Bose, Vasishta N Simha, and Chaya Singh. Geetha Pictures has produced this film.

Shiva Rajkumar released the poster of this film on February 18 on Instagram, which marked his 37 years in the Kannada film industry. A part of the caption read, “The Era, Where It All Began! #Bhairathi Ranagal Is Here.” The poster shows a silhouette image of Shiva Rajkumar sitting on a chair.

His colleagues and fans loved the poster. Actresses Dhanya Ramkumar and Shwetha Srivatsav congratulated Shivanna on this one. “History creator is back, love you Boss”, read one of the comments.

Shiva Rajkumar has many other much-hyped projects lined up as well like Captain Miller, directed by Arun Matheswaran. He will reportedly play the lead brother of actor Dhanush’s character in this film which will hit the big screens on December 15. It revolves around the revolution of the LTTE activist Captain Miller in 1987.
