Telugu actors Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi are soon going to reportedly get married on November 1 against the picturesque backdrop of Tuscany, Italy. According to reports, preparations for the marriage are in full swing, with fans and media outlets eagerly anticipating the nuptials set to take place.
Now, this marriage is dominating headlines again, for yet another reason. There are reports that Varun will accompany Lavanya on a world tour for a month after their marriage. It has been reported that both will travel to some of the most well-known places.
Varun and Lavanya’s engagement was held on June 9 in an intimate ceremony held in Hyderabad. Varun had worn a white kurta pyjama for the ceremony. On the other hand, Lavanya looked beautiful in a stunning pistachio-hued saree.
The love story between Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi blossomed on the sets of their first film together, Mister. Speaking about their relationship, Varun once shared that their friendship slowly turned into love. His parents were aware of their bond despite him being a private person which remained under wraps until they officially announced their engagement.
Varun hails from one of India’s most prominent acting families, with his father being the renowned actor Nagendra Babu, and his uncles including actors Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan. He also counts Allu Arjun and Ram Charan among his cousins.
Lavanya Tripathi, on the other hand, made her debut in the entertainment industry with the television show CID’s episode. She then bagged her next project, a television serial Pyaar Ka Bandhan in 2009 and played the dual roles of Mishti Das and Araina Rai. Lavanya made her debut in the world of cinema with the Telugu movie Andala Rakshasi in 2012. Her other achievements also include winning the title of Femina Miss Uttarakhand in 2006.
Varun and Lavanya last acted in the Telugu film Gandeevadhari Arjuna but couldn’t perform well at the box office. The film revolves around a combat officer who is tasked with the security of an environmental minister attending a UN summit. This officer also has a personal reason to fight against climate change and biohazard waste. Whether he is able to overcome the challenges or not forms the core theme of this film.
