One of the most popular Kannada films, Sanju Weds Geetha 2, has created hype since the day it was announced. The highly anticipated film is a sequel to the 2011 superhit film Sanju Weds Geetha. The film is directed by Nagshekar, who made the first part as well, and also stars Srinagar Kitty and Rachitha Ram in the lead roles. There has been a lot of hype among the fans to see the actors on the silver screen together. Now, it has been found that another actor will be seen playing the second lead hero in the film.
During an interview, the director of Sanju Weds Geetha 2, Nagshekar, revealed that the film will have two heroes and a love triangle story. It has been found that Nagshekar is bringing Chetan back to the silver screen with his film. He is known for his role in Myna, and now he will play the second lead hero in Sanju Weds Geetha 2. Nageshekar revealed that he was looking for another lead actor for the role, found Chetan to be a suitable choice, and initiated talks with him. He added that further discussions are underway, and an official announcement of Chetan joining the project will be made by the production house soon.
Chetan was last seen in the Kannada film Athiratha. He had previously announced that he would be part of a few projects, like Maarga in Kannada and bilingual ventures titled 100 Crores and Khumbakharna in Telugu and Kannada, respectively. Currently, there has been no recent update about them, and it is expected that Nagshekar’s film will mark his comeback. The fans are quite excited to see the duo of Chetan and Nagshekar, as they have previously worked in Myna, which received a great response from the audience.
Coming back to Sanju Weds Geetha 2, the film is currently being shot in Bangalore. It has also been found that the makers will soon be travelling to Switzerland to shoot some major scenes for the leads. Earlier, the teaser for the project was also released, which got a tremendous response from the audience.
