Filmmaker-turned-music director Yogaraj Bhat is one of the prominent figures in the Kannada film industry. He has been known for experimenting with different music genres in all his films. Now, he has donned the hat of a voice-over artist as well, for the upcoming Kannada film Apple Cut. Yogaraj Bhat has turned narrator for Apple Cut’s teaser. According to reports, the idea behind introducing Yogaraj’s voice in the teaser was that of Apple Cut’s director Sindhu Gowda. This teaser will be released soon. Not only the voiceover, Yogaraj has also penned a song for this film. Sindhu is the daughter of renowned Kannada filmmaker, Raj Kishor. She has penned the story and screenplay for Apple Cut, which is billed to be a murder mystery.

Actor Surya Gowda played the role of the male lead in Apple Cut, while actress Ashwini Polepalli is the female lead. Rajesh Gowda has handled the cinematography. Lyricist Satya Prakash has also contributed to a song and Veer Samarth has composed music for the film. Vasuki Vaibhav and Jayashree have sung the film’s songs. Suchendra N Murthy is in charge of the editing. As per reports, every work related to the film is being completed at a brisk pace. The release date of the film will also be announced soon.

According to an article published in flickfeeds.com, Sindhu stumbled upon the idea of Apple Cut, while she was studying anthropology. The report informs that Apple Cut is an innovative Kannada film genre that delves into the study of the human skull, woven into a series of interconnected murders. The backdrop of the film is set in Jupiter College of Medicine, and the lead character takes up the role of an anthropology lecturer.

Sindhu initially wanted to shoot this film in a graveyard, but then decided against it after facing complications. She also talked about her late father’s legacy — Raj Kishor, a director of 29 Kannada films. Sindhu shared in an interview, “My father often predicted that I would embrace the role of a director. Sadly, he is no longer with us, but now I proudly don the director’s hat,” she declared.
