Volkswagen bestowed the Diamond Pin on dealer principal, Mr Shailesh Bhandari, from Volkswagen Pune West. Mr. Bhandari is the only Volkswagen dealer from the West region of India to receive the pin from the Volkswagen Board in Germany this year.
The Diamond Pin award is the highest honour bestowed upon a dealer globally and the winners are selected by Volkswagen.
The Diamond Pin is an annual award given to select Volkswagen dealers across the globe who continuously display operational excellence in sales, servicing, customer satisfaction and parts sales over the years.
The winner is selected by Volkswagen and this year there were a total of 60 winners across the globe, with Mr Bhandari receiving a spot among the best from over 10,000 Volkswagen partners worldwide.
Mr Bhandari is the second Volkswagen dealer principal to receive the pin in India, the first dealer principal was Mr Sathish Kumaaran, Ramani Cars Pvt Ltd, from South region of Volkswagen in India.
