The top player in the two-wheeler segment, Royal Enfield soon to give a big boost to its fleet in India. It has been reported that the brand is gearing up to launch new motorcycles in multiple segments, catering to a wider audience in the country.
The report suggested that the company has lined up 6 motorcycles, which are likely to arrive in the current fiscal. As per the details shared by Autocar, Royal Enfield has lined up 6 models, out of which four will be introduced under 350cc, 440cc, and 450cc, while the remaining ones will be released under 650cc.
RE’s Upcoming Motorcycles
Talking about the 350cc segment, the company will bring a Goan Classic, which is likely to flaunt a retro-styled bobber and will be based on 350. The 440cc and 450cc spot will be taken by Scram 440 and the Guerilla 450. The former is expected to use a 440cc engine, sourced from the Scram 411, while the latter will be based on the 452cc platform.
If everything works out and goes as planned, the upcoming neo-retro motorcycle will compete against the tech-loaded Triumph Speed 400.
Motorcycles Under 650cc
Amid this, the company will also introduce two new bikes under 650cc. Reports suggested the first model will be an Interceptor Bear 650, and will be equipped with some robust off-road capabilities. The other one will be Classic 650, which is expected to offer a smooth riding experience to customers on multiple terrains.
