The top electric car maker BYD (Build Your Dreams) has been working on a robust hybrid technology for quite a long time. Finally, the Chinese manufacturer automotive giant has developed the technology and unveiled it globally.
It has been reported that the newly revealed hybrid tech offers an impressive driving range of over 2,000 km. It also minimizes fuel consumption. It claims to use only 2.9 liters per 100 km on depleted batteries.
Top Models with Hybrid Tech
The company already uses the technology on its tech-loaded models Qin L and Seal 06. The vehicles with the latest hybrid tech have been launched in the international market, flaunting a starting price of 13,775 dollars.
The brand claims that the latest hybrid technology allows customers to save up to 1,362 dollars yearly compared to pure fuel models.
Product Line in India
Meanwhile, BYD has been investing efforts to spread its roots in the Indian market as well. The company has recently launched an electric model called Seal. It was released at the starting price of Rs 41 lakh, while the top model goes up to Rs 53 lakh (all ex-showroom).
Bookings and Delivery
Over 200 models have already been dispatched in the country, and the number is reportedly climbing with each passing day. In case you are interested, the battery-powered cab be reserved by visiting an authorized dealership nationwide. It can be booked by paying a token amount of Rs 1.25 lakh.
