LONDON: Prime Minister Boris Johnson will set out over dinner with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen on Wednesday that Britain will not accept any deal which undermines its ability to control its laws and waters, his press secretary said.
“The prime minister is going to be clear this evening that he can’t accept anything that undermines our ability to control our laws or to control our waters. He’s going to put that clearly to von der Leyen and see what her response is,” Allegra Stratton told reporters.
