Video Of Man Revealing Honeycombs Inside Tree Trunk Viral

A clip of a man separating a tree trunk with all his might is currently doing the rounds of social media. The Instagram video shows a massive lot of honeybees on both sides of the tree. It also reveals many honeycombs made by them. Honeycombs are a mass of six-sided wax cells built by honeybees in their nest to contain young bees and stores of honey.

The man, who is opening the tree, is barehand and is not wearing any safety equipment. He can be injured due to the bee sting but continues to do his work fearlessly. Surprisingly, he is not bitten by the bees at any point. This clip has received 43 million views.

Users were concerned about why this person was disturbing the natural habitat of the trees. The creator, who cut the tree log into two halves, replied that this was a traditional honey harvest. As per the creator, the bees are very healthy and continue their lives.

This creator shared another video on Instagram giving a proper view of the honeycombs built by the bees inside the tree. This clip gives a close-up view of the insides with a lot of bees hovering around the man’s body. Again, without caring for these flying insects, he continues to give the view of the honeycombs. A closer look also reveals equipment releasing smoke to ward off the honeybees.

Social media users asked the creator the price of this honey and how can they get it. The man replied to them with a mobile number to be contacted for further details.

According to the WHO, spores produced by the bacteria Clostridium botulinum are heat-resistant and exist widely in the environment. In the absence of oxygen, they germinate, grow and then excrete toxins.

A similar clip showing the honey extraction process had gone viral on Twitter. It showed large beehives nestling under towering rocks. Those who went to harvest honey were met with swarms of hundreds of bees.
