Japan is one of the most technologically advanced countries. The country is synonymous with bullet trains. Now, a video of a limited express train running from Tokyo has left the internet in awe. In a video shared by on X, a content creator showed off the luxury train called Sapphire Odoriko. From private cabins, luxury seats to a restaurant car and spacious bathrooms, the train offered a wide range of facilities. “It’s a scenic train that runs from Tokyo across the Izu Peninsula and offers breathtaking views of the coast,” the woman said in the video. She then showed off the rotating seats that can be turned towards the window to enjoy the pristine views of the coast. “The seats have a special feature that allows them to rotate and face the large windows meant for sightseeing,” she said.

As the video continued, the woman revealed that the premium cabin from Tokyo to Ito would cost $54 (nearly Rs 5,000) per person. “There is a restaurant car on board with a selection of limited edition food, drinks and cookies. But the best part is the variety of seats,” the woman said.

The limited-edition express train also offers a private cabin that can accommodate at least six people. “Even the most basic seat is comparable to a short-haul business class seat,” the woman said. Towards the end of the video, the woman gave a glimpse of the spacious and clean bathroom with a large mirror inside.

The video has been viewed over four million times and sparked numerous reactions. One user wrote, “Japan, where the future is not just a concept, but the daily commute.” Another user wrote, “This is an insane train experience. First class, first class! Insane. Love it. Japan knows what’s hot!”.
