Ice Cream Bhajiya To Whiskey Maggi: Foodies Can't Digest These AI-Special Combos
Amid the comments that deemed the AI-made dishes unappetising, many people expressed interest in trying them out.

AI-backed tools like DALL-E and Midjourney have opened up the space to create hyperrealistic images with just a few text prompts. Recently, a Reddit user shared a bunch of Indian dishes with bizarre combinations. Some of these odd food pairings were: Ice cream bhajiya, Kurkure dipped in chocolate syrup, Cereal with orange juice, Grilled paneer glazed with chocolate sauce and chilli powder, Samosa with jam, Maggi made in whiskey with chocolate chips, Idli with barbeque sauce and cheese, Pani puri with whipped cream and chocolate syrup, Vada pav served with peanut butter and caramel sauce. Soon, the post has gathered tons of likes and comments from social media users.

Commenting on this post, a Reddit user wrote, “Please, don’t give the street food vendors new ideas.” Someone described these dishes as “vomit inducing.” Interestingly, many people noticed that some of the AI-made dishes are already popular. Making this point, a Reddit user wrote, “Ice cream bhajiya is a thing though.”

Amid the comments that deemed the AI-made dishes unappetising, many people expressed interest in trying them out. Expressing this sentiment, a Reddit user wrote, “You know what I am going to save the post and actually try them out sometime because how will you know if something works or not until you actually try them? I recently started adding honey in my chilli oil and oh my god it’s actually amazing especially if it’s hot.”

Another person wrote, “Ice cream bhajiye is a thing (fried ice cream), Idli with barbecue sauce and cheese doesn’t sound so bad (people eat idli with ketchup, so wouldn’t be that weird and cheese goes well with a lot of things) and Samosa of paired with right jam could taste good (not mixed fruit jam, onion and tomato jam could be great with samosas), rest everything is an abomination to humanity.”

Showing support for Idli with barbeque sauce, a Reddit user wrote, “Idli with barbecue sauce would be ok I guess. Idli itself doesn’t have much flavour to begin with and I think you can add other things instead of sambhar ir coconut chutney. As long as it’s not something sweet It should be fine.”

There were many takers for the jam and samosa combo as well. A Reddit user opined, “Jam and Samosa is actually pretty alright if you get the correct jam. There are these spicy and sweet jams you can get which are decent with samosas. Almost like the meetha imli chutney.” Another person noted, “Jam Samosa seems like an Ok combo. Jam is sweet and Samosa is spicy so sweet and spicy samosa what’s not to like?”
