Drunk Man Tries To Play With Cobra In Andhra Pradesh, Lands In Hospital
The video shows a man from Andhra Pradesh, reportedly intoxicated, trying to mishandle a cobra.

A man from Andhra Pradesh found himself in the hospital after a dangerously reckless attempt to play with a cobra, an incident that has sparked outrage on social media. The footage, which surfaced on X, features Nagaraju from Kadiri in Sathyasai district. The video shows Nagaraju, allegedly intoxicated, attempting to handle a cobra that had wandered onto the grounds of a degree college in Kadiri. The snake initially slithered into the campus premises, following which Nagaraju tried to grab it. When the cobra retreated into the bushes, Nagaraju caught the snake and brought it back on the road to resume his reckless interaction.

In the video, Nagaraju is seen striking a cobra’s head repeatedly, despite the frantic warnings and pleas from the onlookers urging him to stop. His disregard for the snake’s danger is evident as he continues to mishandle it, even stepping on it. The cobra, agitated by his actions, eventually bites Nagaraju. As the situation worsened, onlookers quickly called for an ambulance. Nagaraju was then rushed to the hospital for immediate medical attention.

Since being posted online, the video has captured significant attention, with many expressing their outrage in the comments. One user questioned, “Why is no one taking the right action? There are few people around him. Thanks to the people who called an ambulance.”

Another remarked, “Nagaraju still doesn’t mean naga won’t bite… Amazing patience shown by the cobra.. The guy is a wasted existence on earth…”

Someone else suggested, “He should be booked under cruelty to animals. The poor snake.”

Several users pointed out the inaction of the onlookers. “Instead of making a video, someone could have pulled him aside and allowed the snake to escape. Snake was very patient for a long time,” one said.

Another added, “why did the onlookers allow the man to continue with this dangerous act? There should be some law against people taking videos without offering assistance to persons as in this case.”

Criticism continued to pour in with remarks like, “Once discharged, put him in jail for endangering the life of snake” and “Every drunk man should be bitten like this.”

A person pointed out, “Observe how the snake gave warning and hesitated to bite for the maximum possible extent. Animals are more sensible than humans.”

On a lighter note, one user joked, “He misunderstood his liquor for anti venom,” while another added, “Drunken people consider themselves as Bahubali.”

The video has accumulated over 70,000 views so far.
