Kaun Banega Crorepati 16: Amitabh Bachchan Praises Kartik Aaryan’s Dancing Skills, Asks 'Kaise Karlete Hai'

Kaun Banega Crorepati 16 has lived up to its reputation as one of the most popular quiz series on TV. While participants from all around the country compete for the prize money, a recent episode featured celebrities Vidya Balan and Kartik Aaryan in the hot seat to promote their film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. The trio had a fun conversation during the episode while they tried hard to win a good sum to support their causes. In the episode, host Amitabh Bachchan also expressed his admiration for Kartik Aaryan’s dancing skills and noted how he himself has struggled to dance.

In the recent episode, Amitabh Bachchan could be heard asking Kartik Aaryan, “Jab aap nachte hai, humne aapko dekha hai nachte hua parde par, kaise aap karlete hai ki aap ke sarir ke jitne bhi ang hai woh sab ek saath hilte hai…haat bhi chal raha hai, kopri bhi chal rahi hai, laat bhi chal rahi hai, kamar bhi chal rahi hai (when you dance, i have seen you dancing on the big screen, how to you do it that your entire body is moving. Your hands, head, legs, hips everything is moving).”

To this, Kartik replied, “Sir, there’s a voice from within, and it just happens.” Amitabh then went on to recall how he would be scolded for not being able to dance. He stated, “Sir humko Nritya aata nahi hai aur humko bahot daant padti thi.. aur hum toh uss zamane ke. humara ek gaana tha na saara zamana woh bijli ka dress pehli baar banwaya tha… taar yehi se jaata tha andar aur bahar jaake woh plug kar dete the.. Udhar se on karte the toh hum naachna shuru kar dete the.. Aap ka nritya dekh ke humko yehi lagta hai sir aapka koi bijli ka taar toh hai nahi… toh kaise kar paa rahe hain aap (I don’t know how to dance and I got scolded. I was from that era where I had a song, Saara Zamana and wore an electric wired dress one for the first time. The wire would be inside the cloth and then plugged outside. They switched it on and I had to start dancing. When I see you dancing, I think if you don’t have any wire in your dress, then how come you do it).”

Both Vidya and Kartik won Rs 25,00,000, which they intend to contribute to their respective charity foundations.
