New Delhi: Xiaomi has introduced a powerful 16000mAh Mi Power Bank for a price of Rs 1,399 in India. A successor to the existing 10400mAh model, the latest in the line of power banks by the Chinese manufacturer can provide three full charges sufficient for Xiaomi’s latest Mi 4i smartphone.
Along with the 16000mAh model, Xiaomi has also launched a slimmer 5000mAh model for a price of Rs 699. The smaller power bank is 9.9mm thick and weighs 156g. It is capable of providing approximately 2.2 full charges for an iPhone5s.
Priced at Rs 999, Xiaomi’s earlier 10400mAh model is compact in design, but offers a single port for charging. However, the latest 16000mAh model is capable of charging two devices at once with its dual-port chargers and has been designed for a comfortable hold.
The 16000mAh power bank is now a powerful competitor against Asus ZenPower that offers 10050mAh battery capacity for a price of Rs 1,499. However, the one by Asus is available in four colour choices, while Xiaomi’s power bank is available only in white.
OnePlus power bank with dual-charging port comes for the same price tag of Rs 1,399. However, its battery capacity is lower as compared to that of the latest Xiaomi Mi Power Bank at 10000mAh.
The new Xiaomi Mi Power Banks will start selling from June 9.
