Spotted! Rs 3 Lakh Worth Apple Vision Pro Makes Its Way To Bengaluru Streets
An individual in Bengaluru was seen wearing the $3,499 Apple Vision Pro, and it is straight out of something like a Black Mirror episode.

After the release of its Vision Pro mixed-reality headset in the United States, the internet was flooded with videos and images featuring early adopters in various public places—subways, restaurants, streets, and more—engaging in peculiar hand gestures and appearing out of place with the headsets on. Many observers deemed this “dystopian,” drawing parallels to scenes from the Netflix series Black Mirror.

Despite the exclusivity of the headset to the United States at the moment, the viral content primarily originated from there. Surprisingly, this trend has now reached India, after an individual was spotted wearing the $3,499 mixed-reality headset on the streets of Bengaluru, India’s Silicon Valley.

Shared on X (formerly known as Twitter), Ayush Pranav posted an image capturing a youngster wearing the Apple Vision Pro in the streets of Indiranagar. He mentioned, “bumped into @waitin4agi_ while he was playing around with his vision pro on the streets of Indiranagar” and added, “gotta be a @peakbengaluru moment.”

While this occurrence was anticipated, it’s noteworthy that the expensive headset is being sold at a premium in India. Independent checks identified offline retailers in cities like New Delhi and Jaipur selling the 256GB variant for upwards of Rs 4 lakh (approximately $4800), significantly exceeding the US retail price.

Nevertheless, as the headset gains broader acceptance, these sightings are expected to proliferate in metro cities as more people get their hands on it.

Regarding the official launch, Apple has not provided any indication of whether the headset will be introduced in India anytime soon.
