Samsung's Slimmer Galaxy Z Fold 6 To Feature Titanium? What We Know
Samsung is bringing a new version of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 model that will be eyeing a niche consumer and market.

Samsung is reportedly working on a slimmer version of its recently released flagship foldable smartphone, the Galaxy Z Fold 6.

Well, not just that, as per a report by Android Authority, citing The Elec, the new version is rumoured to come with a titanium backplate instead of the company’s usual stainless steel and carbon fibre-reinforced plastic (CFRP) material.

As per the report, a Samsung’s parts supplier notified the South Korean media outlet that the tech giant might use a titanium backplate for the rumored Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim. Also, the new slimmer version is said to arrive without Samsung’s S-Pen compatibility, possibly due to the inclusion of the new exterior material.

The new version is expected to launch the new version in October this year. This means, the users should not have to wait much longer to get the slimmer Galaxy Z Fold 6.

Previous reports suggested that the slim variant would only be launched in selected regions and could be rebranded as Samsung Galaxy W25 in China.

The South Korean tech giant launched its highly anticipated Galaxy Z Fold 6 along with the Galaxy Z Flip 6 at the Galaxy Unpacked Event last month.

As for the features, Galaxy Z Fold 6 comes with a 7.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X main display with 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. The outer screen is a 6.3-inch HD+ resolution Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset along with up to 12GB RAM and a whopping 1TB storage.

The device boasts a triple rear camera setup which includes a 12MP ultra-wide sensor, a 50MP wide-angle sensor with OIS and a 10MP telephoto lens with OIS. For clear selfies and video calls, it comes with a 10MP selfie camera and a secondary 4MP under-display shooter. Additionally, the device packs a 4,000 mAh battery.

In India, the pricing for Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 starts from Rs 1,64,999 for the 256GB variant, while the 512GB and 1TB models cost Rs 1,76,999 and Rs 2,00,999, respectively. However, the pricing for the new slimmer version of Galaxy Z Fold 6 is yet to be revealed.
