New Delhi: OnePlus has found a fascination to introduce its new products in an unusual manner. After launching its OnePlus 2 in the world's first product launch in VR, the China-based smartphone maker is yet again aiming to set a benchmark for launches with its next smartphone- the OnePlus 3.
In a bid to offer a more immersive experience, the company said that it is moving its headquarters to space - called 'The Loop'. This, of course, is not to be taken literally.
The company is basically aiming to launch and sell its next flagship smartphone through its Loop VR headsets.
The company's blog post explains that fans will be required to first get their hands on the Loop VR to be able to experience the OnePlus 3 launch event and also be the first community in the world to shop in virtual reality.
As a thank you gesture, OnePlus is also giving away the headsets at just Re 1. It will be available through OnePlus' partner e-commerce portal as well as the company's own e-store.
Sale of the headset will take place on June 3 and June 7 and users have to pre-register for the device.
