Nothing has been busy over the past few months, first with the Phone 2a launch and then the CMF Phone 1 debut. Now, the company is bringing the Phone 2a Plus model this week which supposedly promises some hardware upgrades and a few more feature improvements.
Nothing hasn’t revealed much about the Phone 2 Plus and whether people can expect bigger things from the new model but a new leaked report hints at some notable upgrades on offer with the Phone 2a Plus which could push it slightly higher in the price band.
Nothing Phone 2a Plus Leak – What It Says
Nothing Phone 2a Plus leaks suggest the phone will have three upgrades, mainly related to the chipset under the hood, the front camera and the charging support. The leaked details of the Phone 2a Plus seem to hint that the screen size will be the same 6.7-inch as the Phone 2a model.
However, you will be getting the Phone 2a Plus with the new MediaTek Dimensity 7350 SoC which the company has already confirmed. The leaked details also claim the front camera of the Phone 2a Plus is being upgraded to a 50MP shooter, while the sensors at the back will be the same.
Similarly, you will have the same 5,000mAh battery, as mentioned in the report, but this time you will get it with support for 50W charging speed. Unlike the CMF Phone 1, we expect the Glyph interface and LEDs to make a comeback with its unique design touch.
These changes do suggest a price bump from the Phone 2a but we’ll prefer to wait for the official Phone 2a Plus launch on July 31 to see the full details. Nothing Phone 2a launched for around Rs 23,999 in the market, and Phone 2a Plus could be slightly pricier at launch.
