The new feature is in addition to Bing's existing congestion analytics that predict how busy a route will be based on historical as well as real-time data.
However, the cameras also bring the added benefit of being able to check out what a commute might look like in terms of scenery, points of interest or even how well lit the route is for those choosing to walk or take public transport.
