LG Watch Urbane 2nd edition: LG launches first Android Wear smartwatch with cellular support

New Delhi: The second-generation LG Watch Urbane is the first Android Wear that comes with cellular connectivity.

Other than carrying the basics functionalities, the new LG Watch Urbane offers cellular features in addition to the existing connectivity options of 4G, 3G, WiFi, and Bluetooth.

The LG Watch Urbane 2nd edition features a 1.38-inch full circle P-OLED display with 480x 480 resolution with 328ppi. The smartwatch is powered by a 1.2Ghz SnapdragonTM 400 chipset and runs the Android WearTM (cell-connected version) combined with 768MB LPDDR3 RAM. It comes with an improved 570mAh battery and includes 4GB memory.

The controller buttons are on the right of the smartwatch for quick access to settings and other functions. It further comes with fitness-related features such as heart rate tracking, workout tips and stress level monitoring.

The LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition will be available first in the United States and Korea, followed by markets in Europe, CIS, Asia and the Middle East.

The dust and water resistant LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition is available in Space Black, Opal Blue, Luxe White, and Signature Brown.
