New Delhi: Adding to its line of budget smartphones, US-based InFocus has announced its latest M370 Android smartphone that will be exclusively sold on Snapdeal at Rs 5,999.
The M370 features a 5-inch HD display and under its hood is a 1.1 GHz Quadcore Qualcomm Snapdragon processor coupled with 1 GB RAM. InFocus is offering 8 GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 64 GB via microSD card.
InFocus M370 comes preloaded with a new feature that let users turn their faces into emoticons, which offers an alternative to the standard emoticons.
It further includes an 8 megapixel rear camera with auto focus and LED flash combined with a 2 megapixel front snapper. The phone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop and is powered by a 2230mAh battery.
The dual-SIM InFocus M370 is 4G enabled and offers connectivity options including WiFi, Bluetooth, and GPS.
Talking about the launch, Sachin Thapar, Country Head, InFocus India said, “Today’s tech-savvy youth are glued to their smartphone, engaging in endless chats and conversations. However, with generic emoticons that come pre-loaded with the device, chatting becomes impersonal, ambiguous and often loses the real expression. Traditionally, our faces has been the source of all expressions and with the new feature on InFocus M370, users can turn their faces into stickers, adding a completely new dimension to this phenomenon, making chat more fun, personal and lively.”
Registration for the M370 closes on October 8 and the first sale will commence on October 9. It is available in Black and White.
