Bollywood and politics have had a special connection. There have been several films that have focused on politics and had a successful run at the box office. Apart from that, there are many couples as well, where one is a politician and the other is a part of a Bollywood actor. Some of these couples include Ayesha Takia and Farhan Azmi, Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha, and Swara Bhasker and Fahad Ahmad. Among them, Swara and Fahad have been in the news again after the actress’ old tweet resurfaced on the internet. As per reports, she had called Fahad her ‘Brother’, and the politician was quick to react to the situation.
According to reports, in a tweet that dates back to February 2, 2023, Swara jokingly addressed Fahad as ‘bhai (brother)’, ‘miyan (husband)’ and ‘dost (friend). She wrote, “Happy birthday Fahad Miyan! May brother’s confidence remain intact ???? @FahadZirarAhmad Be happy, be settled … You are getting old, get married now! Have a great birthday & a fantastic year friend!” Later, Swara Bhasker clarified by saying that she is a girl from Delhi, and she has a habit of saying Bhaiya-Bhaiya on everything. She often used bhaiya in her speech and has a habit of mixing UP, Bihar, and Delhi dialects in her normal conversations. She also recalled that once her husband called her ‘sister’ in a message. She said that she felt really angry and sad when her husband said this. While the couple took this on a lighter note and revealed that it was fun banter between the couple.
Swara revealed she met Fahad during a rally in 2020, and the rest is history. They went from attending protests together to discussions on Twitter and became friends. The couple got married in March 2023 in an intimate ceremony with their close friends and family. Soon, the couple was also blessed with a baby girl after their marriage.
