The Raja Saab poster not only revealed Prabhas’ look in the movie but also seemingly hinted at a change in Prabhas’ name. On the occasion of Pongal and Makar Sankranti, the makers of The Raja Saab took to social media platforms and shared the first look of the movie. While a jovial Prabhas is undoubtedly the centre of attention, it is the spelling of his name that caught our eye. In the poster, the actor’s name is spelt as ‘Prabass’ as against to his traditional spelling, Prabhas.
It is unclear if the change in spelling is mistake or if Prabhas has turned towards numerology and got his name modified. Check out his name on the poster of The Raja Saab below:
The Raja Saab is dubbed as a horror-comedy with Prabhas playing the titular role. While sharing the poster, trade expert Taran Adarsh revealed, “#Prabhas essays the title role in #TheRajaSaab, a romantic-horror entertainer… #Maruthi – known for directing several successful #Telugu films – directs #TheRajaSaab… #FirstLook… Produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and co-produced by Vivek Kuchibotla, the film will release in #Telugu, #Hindi, #Tamil, #Kannada and #Malayalam… Thaman S scores the music.”
While details about the plot are still under the wraps, it is rumoured that Prabhas will play a double role in the movie. In October last year, director Maruthi Dasari opened up about the film. “Fans are flooding me with all sorts of suggestions about the film. Prabhas is keen on delivering a big hit for them. I can only assure them that everything is going in the right direction,” he said at the time.
When questioned about how much shooting has been completed, he said in October, “He (Prabhas) is doing three different films – Salaar, Project K (Kalki 2898 AD) and Raja Saab and continuously processes them in his head.” According to him, the actor is always keen on giving his best to his fans.
