The year started on a very tragic note for Kannada star Yash with three of his fans losing their lives after being electrocuted while putting up a banner for the actor’s 38th birthday on an electric pole in Gadag, Karnataka. Yash had immediately deferred the shooting of his film Toxic to pay respect to his deceased fans. Apart from that, another fan who was rushing to see Yash on his birthday died in a bike crash with a police vehicle. To ensure that such a mishap does not happen a second time, Kannada actor Duniya Vijay has made a special request to his fans on the occasion of his 50th birthday.
Duniya Vijay’s birthday is on January 20. The actor will greet his fans this time also as he does every year. He shared information about this in a press conference. He will celebrate his birthday in his hometown Kumbarahallim and has requested his fans not to bring cakes and garlands for him.
Duniya Vijay said that he wants to share a meal with his fans on January 20. He also requested them to not erect banners on his birthday and appealed to them to come to meet him safely and with caution. He said these keeping in mind the mishaps that occurred during the celebrations of Yash’s birthday.
Duniya Vijay is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Bheema, which stars him as a gangster who goes on a personal crusade against his enemies after suffering a personal loss. Two singles from Bheema have already been released last month and have instantly struck a chord with fans.
Bheema is Duniya Vijay’s second film as a director after having donned the filmmaker’s cap for Salaga. Based on the trailer, the new movie seems like a raw crime action movie with all the eccentricities that people connect with Duniya Vijay, who also plays the male protagonist. The cast, which also includes Achyuth Kumar, Raghu Shivamogga, Kalyani Raju, Ash Melo, Black Dragon Manju, Gili Gili Chandru and others, was disclosed by the crew last year. Ashwini will play the female main role. The film’s release date has not yet been announced by the producers.
