Sonia will hold public rallies in favour of party candidates in Bandipora and Ramban districts of Jammu and Kashmir.

Bandipora: Ahead of the Assembly elections, Congress President Sonia Gandhi will hold public rallies in Jammu and Kashmir to kick off the party's campaign for the first phase of elections.

Sonia will hold public rallies in favour of party candidates in Bandipora and Ramban districts of Jammu and Kashmir.

"Congress President will campaign for the Party candidates in the state on November 21," Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President, Prof Saif-uddin-Soz told reporters.

She will arrive in Bandipora around 10 AM and address a rally there and later in Ramban town, JKPCC Chief said.

Congress and its senior leader Gulam Nabi Azad face a acid test in the region as the party had won 6 out of 15 seats in 2008 Assembly elections, particularly 5 seats out of 6 seats in Chenab Valley, home turf of Azad.
