7. Sangaria is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Rajasthan and is part of Ganganagar (SC) Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Sangaria falls in Hanumangarh district and North region of Rajasthan. It is categorised as a rural seat.
There are a total of 2,29,639 voters in the seat, which includes 1,19,273 male voters, and 1,10,366 female voters. In the 2018 Rajasthan elections, Sangaria recorded a voter turnout of 86.54%. In 2013 the turnout was 87.86%, and in 2008 it was 83.1%.
In 2013, Krishan Kadva of BJP won the seat by a margin of 11,601 votes (6.67%). Krishan Kadva secured 32.01% of the total votes polled.
INC won this seat in the 2008 Assembly elections with a margin of 8,117 votes (5.67%), registering 25.71% of the total votes polled.
In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, BJP led in the Sangaria Assembly segment of the Ganganagar (SC) Parliamentary/Lok Sabha constituency.
