OP Chautala's misdeeds out in the open, won't get sympathy votes: BJP's Sunita Setia
Sunita Setia is not only banking on Modi but is hopeful that Indian National Lok Dal chief Om Prakash Chautala's conviction and jail term will help the BJP.

Sirsa: Addressing rallies, public meetings and door-to-door campaigns, the Bharatiya Janata Party Sirsa candidate Sunita Setia is strictly following the party line and appealing to people in the name of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Sunita Setia is not only banking on Modi but is hopeful that Indian National Lok Dal chief Om Prakash Chautala's conviction and jail term will help the BJP.

"The party won't get sympathy votes. The misdeeds of the INLD and Chautala are coming to the fore now," she said while slamming the INLD.

Chautala and his son Ajay Singh have been sentenced to 10 years in JB Teachers Recruitment scam. Chautala's bail was cancelled by the Delhi High Court after he have violated the laid down conditions by campaigning for INLD candidates.

Setia is the daughter of veteran Congress leader late Laxman Das Arora. In her campaign which lasts for more than 14 hours a day, she has extensively used the clean background of her father and asked people to give her a chance.

When asked what motivated her to join the BJP, Setia said, "Narendra Modi was the driving force. His words and the development of Gujarat have influenced me a lot."

With just 162 women candidates in over 1,500 candidates fighting for the 90-member Assembly, Setia said, "This is just the beginning. Many more will come up in the coming years."

In her public meetings in Sirsa, Setia only laid stress on Modi, his work and his recent trip to the United States.
