Rahul is fighting a triangular contest with BJP's Smriti Irani and AAP's Kumar Vishwas in Amethi.
Amethi: Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi will be filing his nomination from Amethi on Saturday. He is seeking a third consecutive term from the seat which was earlier represented by his mother, father and uncle. He is expected to file his nomination papers around 1.30 pm.
Rahul is fighting a triangular contest with BJP's Smriti Irani and AAP's Kumar Vishwas. He is also expected to hold a road show during a 45 minutes drive from Sultanpur airport to Gauriganj in Amethi.
His sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is likely to accompany him during his nomination. Voting in Amethi is scheduled to take place on May 7.
Rahul has earlier won the Lok Sabha polls in 2004 and 2009 from Amethi by a big margin.
