New Delhi: External Affairs Minister SM Krishna is expected to travel to Kolkata to meet West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and other leaders of ruling Trinamool Congress to discuss the proposed Teesta water-sharing accord with Bangladesh.

Krishna, UPA sources said in New Delhi on Thursday, would also discuss with Mamata implementation of the agreeement on land boundary demarcation and exchange of 111 adverely-held enclaves between India and Bangladesh.

Both the issues came up at a meeting of the Coordination Committee of Congress-led United Progressive Alliance (UPA) here on Wednesday night, the sources said.

Mamata, according to sources, said her party's concerns on certain aspects relating to Teesta water-sharing and land boundary deals needed to be addressed.

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, who was also present at the meeting, said Krishna would visit Kolkata and hold talks with Mamata Banerjee and other Trinamool Congress leaders on the issues, according to the sources.

The Teesta agreement could not be signed in September last year when Singh had visited Dhaka due to Mamata's last-minute reservations to the deal.

Trinamool Congress is also believed to have some concerns on the land boundary agreement.
