New Delhi: Mocking at LK Advani's yatra, Congress on Tuesday said the history of corruption in India will be incomplete without the mention of certain BJP leaders and said that he should first bring to an end corruption within his party.
"As far the anti-corruption yatra of BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate and permanent PM-in-waiting Advani is concerned, the history of corruption in India cannot be complete without mentioning the names and corrupt practices of Bangaru Laxman, Dilip Singh Judev, BS Yeddyurappa and Reddy brothers," Congress spokesperson Rashid Alvi told reporters.
He also took a jibe at senior BJP leader Sushma Swaraj who visited Tihar jail to meet accused in cash-for-votes case - two former party MPs and LK Advani's ex-aide Sudheendra Kulkarni and expressed solidarity with them.
"If anybody gives such a statement, it appears the person has lost faith in the judiciary of the country," Alvi said.
He also said that Congress had nothing to do with the cash-for-votes issue.
