New Delhi: After Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi pitched for a US-style format to select candidates for the upcoming 2014 Lok Sabha elections, the party released a list of 14 constituencies where the 'primary' selection will take place this year.

Here is the list of the 14 constituencies:

Gauhati (Assam), Bhavnagar (Gujarat), Vadodara (Gujarat), Bangalore north (Karnataka), Dakshina Kannada (Karnataka), Indore (Madhya Pradesh), Mandsore (Madhya Pradesh), Aurangabad(Maharashtra), Yavatmal-Washim (Maharashtra), Sant kabir Nagar(Uttar Pradesh), Varanasi(Uttar Pradesh), Bikaner(Rajasthan), Jhunjhunu(Rajasthan) and Kolkata Uttar(West Bengal).
