He also launched the re-designed BJP website along with party president Rajnath Singh at the party headquarters .

The party's high profile general secretary Arun Jaitley was present at the important function, though he arrived a late. He was present along with senior BJP leaders Sushma Swaraj, Jaswant Singh and Arun Shourie.

A day earlier, Jaitley, who is reported to be at loggerheads with Rajnath Singh over the appointment of Sudhanshu Mittal as in-charge of the poll campaign in Assam and joint in-charge of the entire northeast, had skipped the party's important central election committee meeting.

Speaking at the function on Saturday, Shourie called for the re-orientation of the IT industries by giving more focus to the domestic market.
