New Delhi: The BJP and the Congress stepped up the attack on Delhi Law Minister Somnath Bharti for attempting a midnight raid at Khirki extension area in the national capital and demanded his resignation.
The Minister is, however, defiant and has refused to apologise. He had earlier said that he is proud of his actions and people who ran a campaign to malign his name should apologise. Speaking exclusively to CNN-IBN, Bharti had said, "I feel proud of what I did. I stand by my action. There is no question of apologising."
After the three young women from Uganda blew the lid off an alleged illegal sex racket in Khirki Extension in South Delhi and recorded their statements, Somnath Bharti said that he stands vindicated.
